This post is all about what a Growth Mindset is. This term our focus for inquiry is 'PERSEVERANCE/YET'. In the beginning we all had to make a slide. One of them was a Growth Mindset. So a few of us got together and created the following slide. Hope you enjoy the slide!

Earthquake Memorial
Hi all,
As you may or may not know, on Monday Our Lady of the Assumption and Hoon Hay School held a memorial service in honour of all those that lost their lives, and to also remember those that are struggling due to the February earthquake 2011. We keep you all in our thought and prayers.

Hi all,
Welcome back to school! Hope you had a great Christmas holiday and are ready for an exciting school year! As it is coming up to Lent we decided that we would post a video on The Meaning of Lent. This video will show you that Lent isn't all about giving up something it is actually about getting closer to Jesus and preparing for Easter. So how about this year for Lent you try and do something a bit different and worth while instead of just giving up something. We hope you like the video and are ready for an action packed year!
